Linear actuators and built-in actuators
Electric linear actuators are electromechanical units that convert low DC voltage from a control box into a linear movement. An electric linear actuator from LINAK® consists of three main elements; a motor, a gear and a spindle including a nut. A complete actuation solution for linear movement will include a control box and possibly more accessories - like for example hand controls.
Applied use of electric linear actuators
Electric linear actuators are found in innumerable applications throughout the world. LINAK provides linear movement solutions in applications as diverse as
- hospital and care beds
- industrial machining, automation and construction
- height adjustable desks and tables
- comfort furniture
- switchgear automation for electricity distribution networks
- and more
The electric linear actuators listed below can be used in various applications. For further technical information about the individual electric linear actuator, please find links below each picture.

Electric Dual Actuators TWINDRIVE™
Electric dual actuators are electromechanical units that convert low DC voltage from a control box into movement. TWINDRIVE-systems consist of electric dual actuators with integrated control boxes and controls for adjustment of the applications.
Applied use of electric dual actuators
The electric dual actuator system TWINDRIVE® supplies the growing demand for motorised systems in adjustable electric beds. The electric dual actuator systems from LINAK are specially designed for applications like
- adjustable leisure beds
- adjustable care beds
TWINDRIVE is characterised by a very low built-in dimension, which makes it unique in this market. The TWINDRIVE gives much more free height under the bed than previous electric dual actuators.
The electric dual actuators listed below can be used in various applications.
